The Peril

To the furthest left of The Peril there are massive stalactites. This route goes beneath the stalactites and up the left side. Begin by heading up a wide diagonal crack into a dihedral. At the highest point in the dihedral, place a piton, then lower down and swing to the bottom of the stalactite on your left. Traverse to this stalactite's left side and climb until the crack ends in a point. Place another piton here and again, swing to the bottom of the stalactite on the left. (Read Glitch Note!) Traverse to this stalactite's left side and climb up until you can transfer to the stalactite on the right. This stalactite leads into a chimney. DO NOT go inside the chimney! Instead, go onto the next stalactite's arete and traverse to the left side. This final arete is the final stretch. Climb all the way up to finish at The Dome. It is likely impossible to climb this without pitons. GLITCH NOTE: Be careful about rappelling down from pitons, you may glitch into the mountain. If you do, simply ascend back up immediately. Do not continue rappelling. AID NOTE: Aid routes are intended to be completed in 6 pitons only.
