Welcome to Cairn Routes

This is a collection of routes that the community of Cairn has accomplished and want to share with all climbers of the mountain of Kami (and hopefully others in the future).

  • "Home" takes you back here at anytime
  • "All Routes" will take you to a list of all available routes
  • "About" takes you to a page describing future updates
  • "GitHub" takes you to github.com/pluxate/Cairn-Routes to view and (possibly) contribute to the project
  • "Donate" takes you to buymeacoffee.com/pluxate to support website costs like the domain and possible future server, and my time into the project. I am not associated with The Game Bakers in anyway and all donations go directly to me, Pluxate

Below is an example route page. If you have any questions, join The Game Bakers' Discord and someone should be able to answer. Also check out the Cairn Wiki for game information.

Description

Touch the glowing hold at the top to finish the route. That's it. It was a tough one and I had to use the grip buff to reach the top. Technically this route requires you to start with a limb on each of the holds that has a little tag at the bottom. Only then can you officially start the climb and consider it conquered when you place both hands at the top most hold.

From the top of the route, you have the title, usually given by the person who first climbed the route. Under the title is the location, described by the closest save point name beneath the route. Then you have first ascent, whoever first claimed they climbed the route by whatever means necessary. Then first redpoint, the first person to claim they did the route free-solo (without pitons). Then you have what buffs they used. This part is the description, where things may be very specific or very generalized. Most of the routes you find on this site won't require the specificity described above but you may find some unique requirements so be on the lookout!

Below the description of the route, you'll find one or two embedded videos of completions of the route. If you're struggling or want to see a specific thing in action or just want to be in awe of some awesome climbers, check them out! The links below are just to show what it would look like, it's really just a video of me trying something funky after 20+ hours in the demo.
